Fleet 3rd Engineer - relief across an Irish Sea ferry fleet
- Contract: Permanent; 24 weeks on board / 28 weeks off per year
Fleet 3rd Engineer wanted for a ferry fleet in the Irish Sea (UK/Ireland). The role has no fixed ship: you support the engine teams on different vessels across the fleet. Duties: areas allocated by the Chief/Second Engineer, planned maintenance, emergency duties, risk management and reporting. Required: 2nd Engineer Unlimited CoC held at the time of application; STCW basic safety training, Proficiency in Survival Craft and Rescue Boats, Designated Security Duties; right to work in the UK. Preferred: crowd management, passenger safety and high-voltage management-level training. Offered: full-time permanent job; 24 weeks on board and 28 weeks off per year (including 4 weeks annual leave); travel expenses and travel time paid; pension and life assurance; health cash plan; concessionary travel; training and promotion prospects.
