Third Engineer (deck machinery) for offshore pipelay and construction vessels
- Contract: 5 weeks on / 5 weeks off rotation
Engineer for deck and mission machinery on offshore pipelay and heavy-lift construction vessels working worldwide. Reports to the Shift Leader Deck and First Engineer Deck. Duties: independent watchkeeping and maintenance of winches, cranes, hydraulics and lifting systems; fault-finding and repairs; planned maintenance records; keeping production going during pipelay; deputising for the Shift Leader Deck. Required: maritime engineering education; CoC III/1 officer in charge of an engineering watch or higher without limitations; at least 3 years of deck engineering experience; first experience on offshore construction, dredging or pipelay vessels; knowledge of cranes and hydraulics; English level A2; medical certificate and offshore survival. Offered: competitive salary based on offshore experience, 5 weeks on / 5 weeks off rotation, training and career development, international crew.
