Chief Engineer for ASD towing tug, West Africa (Guinea project)

A licensed European crewing agency is recruiting. ASD towing tug, Liberian flag, built 2014, 294 GT, MTU 16V4000M63R main engines (3,854 kW), Caterpillar auxiliary. Now at Dakar anchorage, soon to join a transloading project at Port Kamsar, Guinea (barge towing, manoeuvring assistance). Joining: Mid / end of November 2026. Contract: 3 months on / 3 months off. Required: - Valid Chief Engineer CoC for the vessel - Experience as Chief Engineer on tugs, preferably Damen ASD; strong MTU knowledge - Able to work independently in remote locations; West Africa experience an advantage - Good English, valid STCW and medical certificates Offered: - Pay in USD, bonus scheme - Stable employment, 3/3 months rotation, German shipowner
