Pumpman - chemical tanker, High Risk Area trading
Wanted: an experienced Pumpman for a chemical tanker sailing in the High Risk Area (HRA) (contract at sea). Duties: operate and monitor cargo pumps, lines, valves and manifolds during cargo operations, routine maintenance and minor repairs of cargo pumps, assist with loading, discharging, stripping and tank cleaning, safe handling of chemicals and pollution prevention, keep pump room and cargo areas clean and safe. Required: previous experience as Pumpman on chemical tankers, valid STCW certificates and medical fitness, good knowledge of cargo pumping systems and chemical handling, fluent spoken and written English, safety awareness and teamwork.
