Wanted: a Chief Cook for an offshore construction vessel working worldwide (contract at sea). Duties: in charge of the galley, plan menus and cook daily meals for crew and officers, food hygiene and galley cleanliness, manage food stores and provisions, order and check supplies, work with the Master and Chief Steward on catering budget. Required: experience as Chief Cook or Cook on offshore vessels or ships, valid ship's cook certificate as per flag requirements, valid STCW certificates and offshore medical, good knowledge of safe food handling, able to work independently for mixed-nationality crews, good English.
