Gas Engineer - LPG to LNG
- Contract: 3 months onboard / 3 months' leave
Vacancy with a global shipping company (client not named). What you'll be doing - Performing operational duties onboard LNG vessels to ensure safe and efficient vessel operations - Supporting LNG cargo operations, including loading, discharge and monitoring procedures - Maintaining and monitoring onboard systems and equipment in accordance with company procedures - Working closely with senior officers and crew to ensure safe and efficient vessel operations What you'll need Essential - Minimum 2 full trips in rank, equivalent to at least 6 months' sea service - Previous LNG experience onboard vessels exceeding 30,000 GRT, or fully refrigerated LPG experience onboard vessels exceeding 30,000 GRT - Valid Class 2 COC (not OICEW) and relevant STCW certification - Previous IAS experience - Previous experience with 2-stroke engines Contract & package - Salary: Starting from $10,144 per month onboard - Rotation: 3 months onboard / 3 months' leave - Benefits: Medical insurance provided - LPG candidates will complete 1 training trip and 1 leave period before joining in rank. Training salary to be confirmed, with the retained bonus paid upon the first trip in rank
