Chief Engineer (maskinsjef) wanted for a car ferry on a crossing of about 20 minutes in Trøndelag, Norway. Duties: engineer in charge of own watch, operation and maintenance of machinery and technical equipment, work in the planned maintenance system, keeping the engine room clean, reporting abnormal conditions to the officer of the watch. Required: valid Chief Engineer certificate under current regulations, ship-specific courses per the company's competence matrix; experience in a similar position is an advantage; good IT skills and experience with maintenance systems desired. Rotation 2 weeks on / 3 weeks off. Offered: competitive pay and pension, welfare schemes, necessary courses covered if needed. Start as soon as possible, flexible.
