3rd Officer - VLCC to LNG
- Contract: 3 months onboard / 3 months' leave
Vacancy with a global shipping company (client not named). Join an expanding LNG fleet as a 3rd Officer with a highly regarded global shipping company, recognised for its strong crew retention, excellent safety standards and long-term career opportunities. What you'll be doing - Performing navigational watchkeeping duties to ensure the safe operation of the LNG vessel - Assisting with passage planning, route monitoring and maintaining navigational charts and publications - Maintaining and inspecting navigational and bridge equipment - Supporting cargo operations, including LNG loading and discharge, as directed by senior officers - Assisting with onboard safety procedures, emergency drills and compliance with maritime regulations - Working closely with the deck team to ensure safe and efficient vessel operations What you'll need Essential - Previous sea time in rank as a 3rd Officer onboard VLCC tankers (min vessel GRT 80K) - International voyage experience - Valid COC and relevant STCW certification Contract & package - Salary: Starting from USD 4,955 per month onboard - Rotation: 3 months onboard / 3 months' leave - Opportunity to develop your career within a leading global LNG operator
