Chief Engineer - chemical tanker, Europe & UK trade
Wanted: a Chief Engineer for its chemical tanker fleet trading in Europe and the UK (contract at sea). Duties: lead and train the engine team; safe and efficient operation of all machinery; planned and corrective maintenance; bunker and lube oil monitoring and records; compliance with SMS, class and flag; engine-side support of cargo and ballast operations; engine budget and spare parts. Required: valid STCW Chief Engineer (Motor) licence, recent sea service as C/E on chemical tankers (or strong tanker experience), knowledge of ISM, ISPS, MARPOL and vetting, good English, valid medical and tanker endorsements.
