Wanted: a Master for a bulk carrier trading worldwide (contract at sea). Duties: overall command of vessel, crew and cargo; safe navigation and COLREGs compliance; safety, security and pollution prevention; cargo, stability, ballast and draft; drills and crew training; documentation; liaison with charterers, agents, terminals and port authorities. Required: valid Master (Unlimited) CoC, strong bulk carrier experience as Master or Chief Officer, valid STCW certificates and medical, good knowledge of ISM, ISPS and MARPOL, good English, leadership and ship-handling skills.
