Duties: assist the Chief Engineer in running the engine department, operate and maintain main engine, auxiliaries and systems, planned maintenance and repairs (PMS), supervise engine ratings, engine room records, support bunkering, fuel treatment and performance checks. Required: valid STCW III/2 2nd Engineer CoC, crude oil tanker experience in rank or as 3/E on similar vessels, valid oil tanker endorsement and STCW safety certificates, good knowledge of PMS, valid medical and seaman's book, good English. Duties: operate, monitor and maintain all electrical, electronic and automation systems, fault finding on power generation, distribution and control systems, maintain and calibrate navigation, communication and cargo control equipment, planned maintenance to PMS and class, support engine and deck teams in cargo operations and drills. Required: valid ETO CoC and all STCW certificates for oil/chemical tankers, sea service as ETO on tankers (oil/chemical preferred), ME engine experience, good English, valid medical.
