3rd Engineer - ferry, North Sea, 1 week on / 1 week off
- Contract: 12-month contract with a view to permanent; 1 week on / 1 week off
3rd Engineer needed for a passenger/freight ferry in the North Sea region (Netherlands-based crew). Role: inspecting and reporting machinery defects, planned maintenance, keeping the engine log, stock and purchase requests, independent watchkeeping. Required: at least an Officer in Charge of an Engineering Watch (all ships) CoC; 2-3 years' proven experience as a marine engineer; all required STCW certificates (or willing to obtain them soon); fluent Dutch and English; good physical and mental health. Offered: 12-month contract with a view to permanent employment; 1 week on / 1 week off; 5 weeks' holiday per year; all-in pay from EUR 5,010.90 to EUR 7,167.20 under the collective agreement.
