A public ferry operator in the Faroe Islands is hiring a cook for a domestic island ferry on a short daily route. Rotation: full-time, one week on board and one week off; living on board is possible. Duties: plan menus, cook for the crew, buy provisions, keep the galley clean to company and authority standards, follow up missing or wrong deliveries with suppliers. Required: ship's cook certificate for merchant ships, seafarer medical certificate, STCW A-VI/1-1, A-VI/1-3, A-VI/1-4 and A-VI/6-1. Independent and responsible, good hygiene and teamwork.
