Cook (m/f/d) - ferry crew, day shifts from Puttgarden, Germany
Cook (m/f/d) wanted for ferry crews based in Puttgarden, Germany. Every shift starts and ends in the home port. Duties: cooking meals for the crew mess and preparing and serving food in the onboard buffet restaurant; giving work instructions to service staff, kitchen helpers and dishwashers; ordering goods as instructed. Required: completed cook apprenticeship (Gesellenbrief) or more than 7 years of proven experience in similar work; cost awareness, independent work and team spirit. Restaurant experience is an advantage; good English or a Scandinavian language is a plus but not a must. The advert is in German. Offered: pay by company tariff up to EUR 3,496 gross per month for a 40-hour week; 25 days holiday in the first year rising to 30; time off during shipyard periods; 5-day week with monthly rosters and some free weekends; Sunday, holiday and night supplements; holiday and Christmas pay; staff discounts and free ferry trips; company health insurance and pension contribution; free meals on board.
