Chief Engineer - harbour tugs, Sweden (2 positions)
- Contract: 2 weeks on / 2 weeks off
Two Chief Engineers are wanted for harbour tugs in Sweden: one on the west coast and one on the east coast, with occasional trips to Denmark. Faroe Islands flagged tugs with crews of 3; you are the only engineer on board. Role: planned maintenance within budget, maintenance and repair of machinery and equipment, supervising engine work, reports, safety training of the crew, compliance with environmental rules. Required: unrestricted Chief Engineer licence, valid STCW certificates (basic training, survival craft and rescue boats, advanced fire fighting, DSD) and medical certificate, a couple of years of hands-on vessel maintenance, strong mechanical skills, good Swedish and English. Offered: permanent full-time job, 2 weeks on / 2 weeks off, close cooperation with local technical management.
