Crewboard has a new section called External vacancies. It is for job adverts from company websites and other public pages. The section is new. As of 22 October 2026 it has no adverts yet, but new adverts will appear there.
What is in the section
Each advert is copied from a public page, such as a company website. Crewboard checks these adverts briefly. But Crewboard has not verified the companies that posted them.
You contact the company directly, not through Crewboard. Each advert shows how to apply. This can be by email, phone, WhatsApp or Telegram, or on the company's own website.

Filters
You can filter the external adverts by:
Position
Department
Vessel type
Company country
Posted: when the advert was added
Salary: only adverts that give a salary
How to apply: email, phone, WhatsApp, Telegram, or apply on the company site
Stay safe
These companies are not verified by Crewboard. Please take care before you reply to an advert.
Never pay for a job, a visa or training to get hired. A real job never asks a seafarer to pay a fee.
Check the company on its own website before you send any documents.
If anyone asks you for money, tell us. Use our contact page and choose "Report" as the topic.
Useful links for seafarers
Crewboard also has a Useful links page. It lists official websites only. These sites are not run by Crewboard.
The page has links to free help and your rights on board. It also shows where to check a certificate, a ship or a crewing agency. Other parts cover maritime authorities, crew visas and the main IMO conventions and codes.

Vacancies posted on Crewboard
Vacancies that companies post directly on Crewboard are on the main Vacancies page, as before. You can read about all of Crewboard's other features in our launch post.
Do you have a question or an idea? Write to us through our contact page or at info@crew-board.net.
